Religion: Living at the Empty Heart of Paradox

We tend to flock together, sitting like with like, staying with what is familiar and thus comfortable. Yet religion challenges us to grow, which we can really only do by stretching, moving beyond what we know, and out of what is comfortable. So if we like being comfortable, why do we come to church? We’ll explore together how, in order to be true to life, religion must also be paradoxical.
